Denizen started in a garage in 2019, born from a simple frustration: why do jeans either fall apart after six months or cost more than your monthly grocery bill? We couldn’t find anything in between, so we made it ourselves.
We source heavyweight denim from mills that have been doing this longer than most clothing brands have existed. Every pair gets stress-tested the way jeans actually get worn—climbing in and out of trucks, crouching on job sites, sitting through cross-country drives. The fit works whether you’re at a desk or under a car, and the rivets stay put past the point where cheaper pairs start surrendering.
We’re not trying to be the cheapest option on the rack, and we’re definitely not chasing the raw selvedge crowd who’ll pay $300 for the privilege of uncomfortable jeans. Denizen sits in the middle because that’s where most people actually live. Good jeans, fair price, no manifesto required.
